- Eli’s full name is Ellison Kim. His Korean name is Kyoungjae (경재). “Eli” in Korean is spelled 일라이 and in Japanese (katakana) is spelled イライ.

- Eli is a rapper in U-Kiss and one half of the subunit uBeat (with Jaeseop).

He was signed to a 15 year slave-type contract in which the profits would be split 2 parts to him and 8 parts to the company. His parents had to come to China to get him out of it. There was also a time where he would eat only ramen (the noodles for one meal and the soup for another) because he did not have much money.
- Eli knows Taekwondo and started studying it when he was five years old. He studied it actively for almost 12 years and still performs it as one of his talents.
