Kevin and Soohyun represented the U-KISS team to bring comfort to flood victims in North Jakarta.
On the same day that a press conference was held to explain the postponement of U-KISS Indonesia activities to April, U-KISS Kevin and Soohyun participated in a charity event. Kevin said that they didn't want to disappoint all the fans in Indonesia so even though the showcase was postponed to April, they came to meet fans and do a charity event.
NH Media and U-KISS did an auction of their personal belongings, such as signed CDs and t-shirts. Kevin said that it's not a big thing but they hope the funds raised in the auction can help the victims of the flood.
Fans were all excited to buy the signed CDs. They kept raising hands and bidding for a higher price at the auction event. Two CDs signed by U-KISS were sold for millions of rupiahs (~more than 100 USD). Aside from the CDs, Kevin and Soohyun's personal shirts also sold for millions of rupiahs. The buyers got an advantage to take photos with Soohyun and Kevin.
After the press con and charity auction events at the Fx Sudirman in the morning, U-KISS came to Penjaringan, North Jakarta (the place that was most affected by flood) in the afternoon. They arrived at around 3.30PM at the venue and they directly interacted with children who were affected by the flood.
U-KISS donated school supplies, books, and toys for the children. U-KISS also sang together with the children. They were taught a children song, "Topi saya Bundar," by the kids. They all sang together happily. Soohyun and Kevin also took photos with all the children and had a great time.
Ahead of their comeback and other schedules, U-KISS is taking time to show their concern for their fans. This truly shows that they care for their fans.
